Homosexual is not abnormal

Every single gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, every citizen deserves
to be treated equally not only in the eyes of law but also in the eyes of
society. There is no human being on this planet who deserves to be treated
unfairly just because of their sexual orientation. Same sex marriage couples are
not asking for special treatment but they are simply asking for equal
treatment. Unless an upstanding citizen pays taxes, serves community and abide
laws, one should be afforded with equal rights. Lesbian and gay couple’s right
to marry cannot be denied by anyone unless they failed to be upstanding
citizen. It is high time for each and every one of us to get out from those
social stereotypes and orthodox believes. And this discrimination against Gay
and lesbian couples must end here.
The issue of same sex marriage remains complex and controversial in many countries. Often, it is sparked with emotional and political clashes between supporters and opponents. Some people are ingrained with the belief that same sex marriage is disgrace to nation and god which is actually not true at all. The battle of gay and lesbian couples is to get legal reorganization and not religion reorganization. Most of people who are against same sex marriages don’t hate gays and lesbians as individual don’t welcome them because of their religious beliefs. Same sax marriage has never created problems for religious institutions and nation. But the way we think and consider them have created unexpected problems in our community, nation and world as a whole. This blatant discrimination against sexual orientation is the most disgraceful thing in the eyes of god.

One of the common problems that cause continual trouble or distress to gay and lesbian couples is because of that belief that same sex marriage would eliminate basic idea of mother and father for every child. It is a vague and unjustified perception. Just because someone who does not fall in love with opposite sex, it does not make them wrong and incapable of taking responsibility being parents. Same marriage couples do have the privilege of adopting children and begin family of their own. Only thing is society needs to be more inclusive of all kinds of people and ensure safer place to live. Homosexuality has raised human rights and constitutional law issues as well as raft social, religious, moral and political questions .yet, they are inconsistently denied with their rights and justices. There are still some countries where Gay and Lesbian are legally punishable by death. In counties like Yemen, unmarried Gay will be punished with 100 lashes or one-year imprisonment, but married gay men face death by stoning. Similarly, in country like Iran, homosexuality was made punishable by death penalty. LGBT in Pakistan are taboo topic and such acts are illegal. By hooking upon such facts, it is true that same sex marriage is inherently unequal and treated unfairly. The basic principle of constitution i.e equality and right to life were violated brutally.
This continues homophobia, social stigma and discrimination
against gays and lesbians can affect their physical and mental health.
Prejudices, negative stereotypes which were deeply imbedded in our behaviour
cause very negative attitude towards them. Often, they are rejected by friends
and family. This increases the possibility of committing suicide. Hooking
up with above mentioned facts, it is evident that their rights to social
security, assistance and benefits, right to form family, right to practice
religion, right be free from torture or cruel are denied explicitly by law.
So, it is right time today, for the public, government and judiciary has to
lead that same sexual marriage is normal phenomenon and root out that aging
system. Let us join all hand in hand to set aside our social taboos and
ensure acceptance to same sex marriage because, unless one is prepared to say
lesbians and Gays are not human beings, they should have same constitutional
rights like any other human being.
