The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension via its order dated 17-12-2020 has notified new appointments to the National Green Tribunal (NGT). Four High Court Judges, two sitting and two retired have been picked up for the same.
The Names include Rtd. Justice Brijesh Sethi of the Delhi High Court, Rtd. Justice Sudhir Agarwal of the Allahabad High Court, Justice B Amit Sthalekar of the Allahabad High Court, Justice M Sathyanarayanan of the Madras High Court.
The pay scale of the Judges for the posts assigned has been selected ₹2,25,000/- for a period of four years.

The appointment has been made for a period of 4 years or till they attain the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
