On Tuesday, Vuyyuru Civil Court Judge Jasti Satyanarayana Murthy (50) died of Coronavirus. He was admitted to a private hospital in Vijayawada after testing positive for COVID-19.
His father also died of Covid-19 recently. He fell ill after his father’s demise & was admitted to hospital & despite the doctors’ best efforts, succumbed to the virus. 2 deaths in a span of a few weeks have came as deep shocker to the Judge’s family.

A pall of gloom descended over Vuyyuru bar association following the judge’s death. Advocates in Vuyyuru court paid tributes to the departed soul. Yuyyuru inspector Naga Prasad & other officers in the town & rural circles condoled the death of Murthy. Bar members said that he was known as a friendly judge & maintained cordial relations with everyone.
