On Friday. in its notification issued, the Delhi High Court has announced preponment of the Summer Vacation of the Delhi District Courts in view of the Covid Second Wave which will now be begin from 17th May- 3rd June, 2021.
The High Court has kept Courts of Metropolitan Magistrates as exception and the vacation period for them is from 17th May-27th May, 2021.
The Notice has been issued in partial modification to Delhi High Court's order dated 17-10-2020 on similar matter.
Apart from this, in contunuation of order dated 23-04-2021, the High Court has also notified that cases listed between 17th May- 3rd June shall be taken up for hearing from 14th June- 30th June under the present system of Virtual Hearing of Cases.
