Arnab Goswami granted interim Bail by Supreme Court in 2018 Suicide Case

On Wednesday, the Apex Court granted interim bail to Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami who was arrested last week in connection with a 2018 abetment to suicide case. The Court also asked the HC's to exercise their jurisdiction to uphold personal liberty. The bench, headed by Justice Chandrachud, granted Arnab Goswami & two other accused interim bail on a bond of Rs 50,000.
